I'm already wanting to go back and condense the first 6 chapters of Benevolence... yeah I'm writing a slow-burn, but 14 chapters of no Edmund is kinda excessively torturous ngl

The next chapter is going to be so cool—we’ve got a POV shift. But, since it’s a bit random and I didn’t start shifts sooner,  I’m wondering if it will move earlier in the book, or if it’ll even make the cut for the final edit…

Hey everybody! 
          
          It’s been a little while, hasn’t it? I’ve missed you guys so much. But I had to take a bit of a break this summer, between finding a job, working, etc. 
          
          But we’re back now! Hoping to have an update out by Friday- I move back to uni then. 
          
          I also hope to start speeding along- I have Act 2 planned out almost down to a science, but I haven’t figured out a lot of the intricate details with this mysterious civil dispute happening in Narnia. That’s really the only thing holding me back atm I haven’t had my writing epiphany yet. 
          
          I’m considering just writing out a whole draft and then backtracking to rewrite/add more details. The quality would still be there, but it wouldn’t be the peak refinement I prefer. 
          
          Who knows? I’m really just a perfectionist, and I think I’m holding myself up with moving along in Benevolence. 
          
          Anyway- keep an eye out! Briar’s going to need your moral support here soon…especially given what just happened! And feel free to invite some more of your friends to join us on the journey- after all, I am writing for you guys, too. Not just myself

Hi, friends!! It’s been awhile! 
          
          As we near the end of the semester, I’m editing some chapters and refining dialogue and descriptions (starting with Chapter 14)! 
          
          The plan is to edit all chapters leading up to the latest update so I can get a refresher on where the story is at…because school has kept me so busy I’ve forgotten the plans and paths I’ve prepared, which means if I write new content, I risk making filler content and losing direction. As a writer, I don’t like to waste time or words, everything I write is meaningful and is included for a very specific purpose. 
          
          So, here’s hoping I’ll be back in the next few weeks with an update! But for now, feel free to start rereading some chapters—you might find some new content in them!
