Hey everyone! I just wanted to keep you updated so that no one thinks I've promised a conclusion to the series and then dropped off the face of the earth again. So here's the current situation. One, I found someone who is helping me edit! God bless her soul, she is an angel who is saving you all the pain of reading the unedited version of this story which is a Mess. Two, I just finished CoS. I've been writing at least one chapter a day now for a few weeks, and I think that's maintainable. I will be starting PoA tomorrow. What does all of this mean to you all? Once the angel who is editing this has gotten through SS and CoS, I will start posting. The story will go up once a week, probably on Friday nights EST. It will be in a new story document where I will post the entire series. I'm really excited to start getting into real new material soon, and I'm still so grateful to everyone who has stuck around or showed up recently. I love all of you! -K

Hi, I have a question about the Sky Potter series that werent exactly clear to me (sorry if the answers are clearly there and I'm just not understanding) Will you be completely rewriying the story? If so, will you be editing all the already written chapters? Or will you be creating whole new story files for it? And will it be a series like it was originally intended?
@Hogwarts5298 It’s possible they aren’t clear. It’s like 2am my time. I’m rewriting (mostly just editing) the parts that already exist. I didn’t have enough characters to really explain, but the story will be third limited, like the original series is. It will be a series, but I don’t know how I’m going to upload it yet. I don’t want to take down the originals so I’ve got a few ideas I’m bouncing around. 1: I may upload all 7 books into a single story file. It’d all be in one place, but it would feel less like a series. 2: I may upload the new versions on the end of the existing ones with an explanation as the first part. This may be more confusing, but it wouldn’t require new documents. 3: I may upload it into new story files with the same titles and the word rewrite. I haven’t decided yet honestly. If you, or anyone else for that matter, has a preference feel free to let me know.
Hello. I know this is probably a surprise, but I have news about the Sky Potter series. As you know, more than once I tried to have someone take over the story, which always seems to fall through. So I realized that if the story was going to get done, I had to be the one to do it so here we are. I'm going to go answer some questions here and put them in my profile and on the stories as well.
1: What will the rest of the series look like?
I am doing an overhaul of the series. It will go through all 7 of the original books. Going through the Sorcerer’s Stone took me about 3 days of work to give you an idea on timeline. Once I’m completely done I will upload it all on a TBA schedule. (Remember when I had one of these ages ago?)
2: Where have you been????? (I get this a lot)
I graduated high school in 2015 and am nearly done with two BAs at college. I’ve been insanely busy, and the ending of the HP series IRL killed a lot of my motivation for this. However, I’ve been getting back into it with the new movies, and I felt guilty every time I got an email asking about the story. The only way to fix that is to finish it.
3: Is it going to be the same as it used to be?
Sort of? I am working off of large parts of the original plan for the story (So uh Cursed Child isn’t canon here or in my heart). However, I am rewriting the full story. My writing style has changed, and I don’t think I could continue it the same way.
4: Will the story be posted elsewhere?
I know that in the years since this story is active many people have migrated away from Wattpad as their primary place to read fanfiction. I will post here, fanfiction.net, and Ao3.
If you have any other questions, please ask. I will be trying to go through and respond to comments/asks from the past at least once a week, but anything new will get precedent. I am so grateful for the kindness and continued support I receive from this community. Till next time
