K.D. Hagen is an author, poet, wife, and mother living in the Pacific Northwest. She released her first book of poetry, Dreams for the Divine and Drowning in February of 2019.  Her second book, a collection of short literary fiction called, Keeping the Swine was published in June of 2019. K.D. draws a lot of inspiration from her experiences traveling the US in her early twenties, difficult and easy relationships, and growing up in a very small town on Whidbey Island. 
Currently, she is working on a fantasy novella that will contain some of the rhyming poems that have been heavily featured on Instagram and spends her time wrangling two beautiful young daughters and exploring a new love for the hometown that she left behind at 18.
