Hi, I'm Keely. I thought I'd dip my toe in to test the waters of Wattpad. After a very long fallow period, I've just become an unemployed journalist so thought I'd give writing another go. It breaks up the job applications nicely! 

A little bit about my writing and influences:

My writing tends to fall into the YA category. 
I am from the old school of third person narration - come on, we need a renaissance!
Symbolism is my muse.
I prefer to write in notebooks, but I am learning a computer is probably the better option for efficiency.
I have a huge fascination with fairy tales and arthurian literature. (If you're interested, Angela Carter has done some of the best re-writing of traditional fairy tales to date). 
I always have to write to music.
I sketch and paint my own characters to help me write about them.

At the moment I have put up some of my writing from when I was still a teenager, so don't judge me too soon!
