❝He had only been ten years old at that time, but from the moment he had first laid eyes on Padmé, young Anakin had known that she was the woman he would marry.

Never mind that Padmé was several years older than he was. Never mind that he was just a boy when he had known her, when she had known him. Never mind that Jedi were not allowed to marry.

Anakin had simply known, without question, and the image of beautiful Padmé Amidala had stayed with him, had been burned into his every dream and fantasy, every day since he had left Naboo with Obi-Wan a decade ago. He could still smell the freshness of her hair, could still see the sparkle of intelligence and passion in her wondrous brown eyes, could still hear the melody that was Padmé's voice.❞

My hands feel as it is burning whenever I think that I will no longer feel your tight grip on my hand as you lead me in excitement to the source of your enjoyment.

No longer holding your face in adoration as you smile shyly with redden cheeks and hidden glint of mischief in your eyes that I could recognised it immediately.

No longer helping untangling your hair after we spent hours floating on our back watching the blue sky while holding hands together at our favourite beach.

No longer find the comfort as you squeeze my hand in understanding whenever I feel down not realising that it makes me feel a lot more better than you realise it could.

Though, I bet you forgot about me already.

The rain reminds me of you.

The raindrops are like the unshed tears when I caught you staring at him with an unconcealed lovestruck expression. So obvious even a fool can see.

But the sound of it hitting the earth makes me feel calm and content like when I watch you smiling and laughing from afar. Even if it's because of him and not me.
