I am changing my pen name from Kelley Li to Kelley Grell. I will begin to change my pen name on my work, social media, and platforms soon.
 Hi! I'm Kelley Grell (formerly Kelley Li) and I'm a 50-year-old-Black woman who's an independent author.
 
It's taking a while to post/published/upload my work, specially completed work. Aside from revising, my health issues come into play. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, which causes my energy to drain and get really low (and that can happen any time of the year besides fall and winter, any dreary weather or day too). Also, I deal with severe allergies that can cause me to shut down (being worn out from the allergies under my skin, my meds, and anaphylaxis).

Plus, severe migraines due to spikes in my (high) blood pressure and I'm in menopause (so, yeah, fun times). And I have a 23 year severely, nonverbal autistic son. So, I just want you to know I want to get back to updating badly. But if I've been ghost for long while, something from the list above probably has me away from my novels. But I will make up for it when I get back to my work.

All of my work is interracial with the main focus / main character is a Black woman / Black girl. And a lot of it tends to be romance, drama, and due to themes in the novels, a lot of would have a rating of "R" or "PG", if it had / would have a rating. No matter what the genre is under the umbrella of interracial fiction (BW or BG).

I have a good amount of paranormal and supernatural stories and even though I am a scaredy person IRL, the stories do have some gore, some horror, death, and can get very vivid when talking about a scene or certain characters.

There tend to be a lot of adult situations, adult language, and some real-world situations and themes that if you can't handle or are triggering, I understand if you need to skip that scene/paragraph/chapter/ story.
