Okay, I'm beginning to realise that I've read a lot of stories that's been reposted, and I feel absolutely terrible about it, but I'm beginning to feel like it's almost impossible to completely avoid (not that that makes it okay).

So all I'm saying is be mindful and try to steer away as best you can <3

Don't be like me—check whether the content you engage with was posted by it's author and if it wasn't, whether the author gave their permission for it to be reposted by the person who did it. It's so important to respect people's intellectual property, also when it comes to fanfiction.

It makes me feel bad afterwards when I engage with stories that might have been stolen from it's original creator (as it should), and just remember that sharing who the original author was doesn't equal permission from that person to post said story.
