I'm loving the way this character study of Mars is turning out. This psychoanalytic approach to viewing mars has brought a whole new layer to his character giving much needed depth to the once boring and plot armored protagonist turning him into our loveable little hero. For example, let's look at his character design - He's a black cat with a few white spots. This represents how Mars is cover from the sins of his past yet his kind heart still shines through revealing that after all the bad shit he's gone through, Mars is still is a good person. We live in a society where sex and violence is glorified and praised so to see a hero that rejects these ideals and strive to represent bravery, heroism and selflessness is truly a breath of fresh air. I'm looking forward to see Mars' adventure continue forward into a bright future
