why on earth did craig’s heart decide to dedicate itself to the most complicated guy in town? he pondered on that as he snuck out of his house and started towards the trailer park. he’d been doing a lot of things he wouldn’t do without influence, sneaking out being one of them, as well as chasing up a man. the only reason craig was sneaking out to kenny’s place was because he wasn’t picking up the phone. he definitely stood out as he rocked up to kenny’s rundown trailer. craig and kenny were at an odd point in their relationship where the feelings were mutually understood, but craig refused to bring a guy home to his parents who might not even remember it the next day. it was like limbo. craig knocked firmly, hoping that kenny was at least sober enough to come and let him in.

craig had come home from school that day to find kenny where he’d left him that morning— laid in bed, sick and in pain. he felt bad that he hadn’t stayed with the blond, but craig had grown up, surprisingly, to be a model student and he hated missing out on classes. so when he got home he went straight upstairs to his boyfriend rather than the usual afterschool idle chat with his mother and sat beside him on the bed. “i’m back.” craig stated the obvious, rather bluntly. that was him. “you okay? do you want me to open the blinds?”
