Hey guys, I'm pretty sure you've seen the Wattys post the winners. Sadly, I wasn't there but at the same time, a part of me always knew I would never make it.
However, that also doesn't stop me from being grateful and having hope for the future. I'm having a pretty busy time right now but I have some brilliant ideas lined up. The first book is always a struggle because you're constantly battling against "good enough"s. Now that I've done that and I've had more positive feedback, I'm more than willing to make a comeback better than ever.
But that's not happening anytime soon. [I have to sit for my last year of A levels in May and university admission tests are sometime after that- for which I have to study a completely different curriculum. The struggle is real. And I'm on the verge of tears most of the time.]
Anyways, thank you to each and every one of you who has been on this journey with me. It hasn't even been 6 months since I've posted "Happily Ever After Comes At A Price" and now I have 3k somewhat reads on something I thought people had no interest in. Look at me now, a Wattys2021 finalist and had my picture posted on Bangladesh's most well-know English newspaper for being one of the best writers to submit for a non-fictional writing competition. [FYI, for some goddamn reason, my non-fiction works are way better than my fictional one xD]
I really hope to see you in the future. But for now, I'll be posting the few chapters I have of the next projects as a teaser. I'll just disappear for the time being. Enjoy yourselves and feel free to reach out.
May I present to you...
The Prophecy In The Winds
