okay so the weirdest thing happened yesterday and i'm gonna ramble abt it. so i went into music world bc i finally decided to buy a new ukulele. i walk in and there's two guys on the floor fixing something in the corner, but they're kind of hidden so it's like there isn't anyone there. (the ship was empty too. like completely.) i got up to the counter n this cutie pops up from behind the till and asks if i need help. i explain that i want a new ukulele but that i'm not sure what brand/size i wanted. he walks me through everything and i buy it and then he's like "oh shit, we have matching tattoos!!" and i'm like huh?? he shows me his arm and in exactly the same place as i have my two rectangles, he has the same but filled in and with dots in it. i recognise it but don't want to say anything so i casually say "does yours mean something?" and he doesn't undertand what i mean so i explain that mine is for a band. he smiles a little and says "what band" and i reply the 1975. his is for the 1975 too!!! in the exact same place, almost identical tattoos!! i was so shocked and it was awesome honestly. then the two guys walk over and they're like "he's seen them about six times. i guess you're both huge fans" i end up staying for a bit because we get lost in conversation until i have to leave. he grabs a business card and writes something on the back and hands it to me. turns out he plays guitar in a band and they have a similar sound to the 1975 !! just a big coincidence and it was so great. i hope we get to talk again bc he was so so cool and really cute and funny too
