I hope you all had good holiday celebrations! I didn't do much besides spend time with family and work, but with the state the world is in, I'm learning to be content with just getting by like that. As I said, I am usually always writing, but I can admit that I've been slacking off a little. I just have these weird mental constraints that only allow me to write productively under very specific circumstances, and I haven't been in those circumstances for a like a week, so I've only just started to get back into the groove of things now that I'm back home. I'm not working on any one shots yet, but I do have a few ideas I'd still like to make reality, so once my schedule is actually back to normal, I'll start up on those. BUT I have been working on a new chaptered story! I liked the system I had with the last one where I had a stockpile of chapters basically ready to publish each week because it put less pressure on me to get something out at a certain time. So, I've been working on those chapters and I think I'm currently 6 chapters deep now, so I may start publishing those once I've run through my remaining one shot ideas. Those might be longer and thus take me some time to get out, but hopefully they'll be worth the wait!

just a heads up, especially for my US-based readers, i will be posting fanfics on here, AFF, and AO3 for as long as i can. I will also be taking extra steps to back up my work just in case something happens to one or all of these sites.
and the most important reminders: take your time to mourn, then do whatever you need to do to protect yourselves and those you care about who may be at risk.

@httpssushi_ Much appreciated! I'm definitely better now than I was in 2015/2016 writing those, but I did go back and edit them a couple of years ago so I could at least sleep a little better at night lmao

@httpssushi_ lol that's a great question. I liked doing The Cursed Blessing and When Cherry Blossoms Fall if you want something a little more recent. If you're brave enough to go back to the older ones, Oasis is pretty good and maybe Listen to Your Heart? If you want shorter reads, my one shot collection might be a good option, I still update that regularly. Other than that, I pretty much cringe at the rest lol. But I did write them so it's different for me

I read so many works of yours and I was looking through my archives and then through your profile and I don't see some of them anymore .

There are people on sites like Etsy and Ebay who are taking FREE fanfictions from AO3 and binding them to make profits, causing the authors to be forced to delete them out of fear of being sued by companies like Disney, marvel, etc for profiting off copyrighted characters. Not only is this stealing and profiting off work they didn't create, but it's putting people who just want to write about their favorite characters at risk for something they have no involvement in. So if you see any of this on Etsy or Ebay or similar sites, REPORT THE SELLERS/SHOPS!! I doubt my works get enough traction to be stolen, but if you just so happen to see one of mine, please let me know!! Spread awareness and let people who may buy from these people know that fanfic is free. Let's not ruin a fun thing for the sake of greed.
