Sometimes we distance ourselves from Allah when we experience hurt from people. We feel like Allah hates us just like people do. That He doesn’t care about us because if people who are imperfect creatures themselves don’t like us, then how can the Perfect and Almighty Creator care about us? But what we forget is that Allah is infact the only One who will never leave us. The only One who won’t treat us the way people do. It’s crazy how the One who doesn’t have to love us, still does. The only One who doesn’t have to overlook our imperfections still does. And the One who doesn’t have to care for us every second of our lives, still does. People push you away, Allah doesn’t. Nor does he move Himself, or His Throne or His Mercy away from you, even if you do. And He gives you time and tests to keep reminding you that even if the whole world turns their back on you- there’s always Someone who won’t.
