Exactly. I mean, I get some people may have wanted that to be the case, but it isn't. Personally, I don't like Cassandra Clare because she romanticized so many things that shouldn't be romanticized at all (incest, abuse, self harm, depression, etc) but that's just my opinion.

Ugh.  Some people don't even understand.  Like no.  If Alec was supposed to be bisexual, than Cassandra Clare would have written him as such.  But no, he's gay.  People have to accept that @graysonthetransguy

Because homophobic people think Alec is bisexual even though the TV series and books clearly state that he is a canonically gay male.
