i’m told you’re called the mad queen

khalqrc

@monstraura that it is, and i’m not naive enough to believe it will change.. perhaps in the future it may, but certainly not now. a woman of violence is merely a headstrong woman who was pushed over the edge by something in her nature, no matter the circumstance. you see, god can surely attest that while men fight wars, us women ultimately win them.

@khalqrc good reason? men of violence are called conquerors of “the great”, yet we women find connections to “madness” and “cruelty” .. it is the way of the world, even in my time. The North didn’t like that my father refused to have more children in hopes of a son and named me his heir, now they are ruled by women more than men. God has a funny way of humbling them.

and if you were queen..

@soverlars aegon would surely be a better option.. even aemond, for that matter. but we know what they are, their reputations even fall on the most naive of ears, but they are the only ones vincent will even acknowledge to listen to. [her tone was dull, her eyes preoccupied on the placeholder before her —to which she mindlessly spun the ornate sphere between her fingers. her grandsires were mad men, needless to say, everyone knew that.. but they were tactical and smart above all, not simply driven by grief and madness. she was stumped, surely, and she breathes out a defeated sigh] there are a few ways to go about it. either allow him succumb to his madness and destroy our house with it —or ..contest his claim for the crown, as a few mesyrs would say in private

keyword was someone, not necessarily meaning you. [ and at the mention of aegon and his daughter he heaves out a sigh. ] not very promising options.. aegon is well—- aegon and athena is.. as you said not fully equipped. [ despite the unimpressed look that is brought by the mention of their king being consumed by darkness, he believes every word she tells him. ] great.. lovely, actually. and the solution is.. ?

@soverlars if you think he would listen to me of all people, then you’re a fool. the only two he will listen to is aegon, who is also mad with grief and vengeance over the death of his son ..and your daughter, and with all due respect i do not think she’s fully equipped for the task. besides, there is ..a darkness, my grandfather and aunt sansa spoke of privately, one that’s hereditary —that is slowly but surely enveloping my brother

@sinicides that’s the fun of it all, i don’t have a specific destination ..only rule is i need to be back by morning [she would shrug, leaning into the arms of the membresia girl before turning her head to glance up at the brunette] you tell me, where do /you/ want to go?

@sinicides because they are, in truth. because i cannot have you in the ways i want, and you can’t have me either ..only in the comforts of my chambers or yours [it was difficult for her, for she was an extrovert and passionate girl.. so for her to hide something so sacred to her was a challenge, especially when nobody around them knew]

@sinicides the very one.. [she had attempted to hide the subtle rosy tint upon the flesh of her cheeks with her chalice at the mention of the aestrellar boy. whether she kept her opinions quiet or boldly expressed them to his face, which she had before ..there was no doubt that the dragoness felt something strong for him. even in his absence, she had grown restless, same with the trusty mount within her. perhaps that was the strong and undeniable bond between dragon and rider] they certainly have been blessed with impeccable genes, their entire family is beautiful.

@sinicides [she sat in silence momentarily, only to reminisce on the plentiful yet secret moments between the princess and the trusty man in her brother’s kingsguard. taking a rather large sip of her wine, to accommodate for the mother to be and herself, she clears her throat before rolling her eyes some in thought] hm.. perhaps his whoreish ways had aided in his experience when it comes to the body of a woman —so i would say out of generosity.. an eight. but like i said, i’m well over it and found a —dare i say, a ten?

@sinicides this one happened to be the more ..depressing of the three, but it was either melancholy or violence and death— so i thought i’d switch it up, considering we’re far too used to the other alternatives these days

rather late to be in the crypt, don’t you think ?

khalqrc

@kingsarc [her hands soon clasped behind her back as she stood up straighter upon his approach, keeping her dark eyes glued onto the skull of their father’s mount before them. she wasn’t a stranger to this specific spot, no, there had been countless of nights where she would wind up standing before goldbyrn’s skull, in means to feel even more connected to everything she once lost. with a soft sigh, she sparingly shifted her gaze to glance over at her brother momentarily, nodding slightly in agreement] in a more ..melancholic way, i do think. but i’ll spare you the details on what i think

@khalqrc [ he holds his breath when he comes to stand by his sister, the two standing before the large skull of the infamous goldbyrne, whose on bones was gold, illuminated by the candlelight’s that surrounded it. there were other dragons too, from what he could remember yet he was too afraid to see them, for they were far larger than the golden fury, and he alone was a fearsome size] i suppose.. the dead can be more comforting than the living
