@WinterGhost20 easier said than done but we cannot waste time dwelling on what we lost. We have to change our mindset to how we can live in the moment as much as possible.
Attention all US citizens! Today is the day to exercise your right to vote and help determine the future trajectory of our country. Every vote really does matter and countless people died fighting in wars or standing up for future generations to guarantee our right to do so. Please make your voice heard!
And for those of you who do not live in the states, please pray and send positive vibes to all of us. This election really will affect the entire world.
@kiabsn I love you for this! I think voting is important. I know some people get discouraged because of the Electoral College, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t vote. I wish people understood that.
@Tudee1981 I went last week, too and am glad I did. We’re both in important states so hopefully whatever outcome is a peaceful one. I’m so glad the ads, texts and phone calls will be done!

Sweater weather showed up this morning here! As much as I love fall, I’m not sure I’m ready to say goodbye to summer. Turns out, Mother Nature didn’t ask my opinion.
Oh well. Bring on the pumpkins! Are you yay or nay for pumpkin spice? Personally I’d rather have a pumpkin muffin than a pumpkin spice latte but I won’t turn one down either.

Today is just one of those days that my brain is rejecting all forms of adulting! I am behind at work yet cannot manage to even force myself to focus for more than 15 minutes at a time. Send help or alcohol (or even a clone to do the work for me!)!

I’m still so happy and excited that I got to share something truly special with my daughters yesterday on Mother’s Day. Something I absolutely adored when I was a kid and couldn’t get enough of… I introduced them to Adventures in Babysitting with Elizabeth Shue circa 1987!! Eeek!! I can’t even tell you how much I freaking loved this movie and despite not having seen it in at least 20 years, could still remember parts verbatim LOL
They both LOVED it and even husband joined us (allegedly only for the popcorn) so my Mother’s Day was complete and my heart is full ❤️
@crevans-stan it was pretty perfect! Hearing my kids giggling and seeing all their reactions during the movie was awesome. My oldest yelling “kiss her” at the end was the cherry on top ☺️
Happy Mother’s Day to all those who nurture, whether it is your own offspring, your siblings, nieces/nephews and whether is is biological or not. “Mother” has so many meanings and to me it means unconditional love and can be found in more than one person for us.
