If you've known me since 2024, then you probably know that I wrote a book called Aakrit. I wrote it with zero expectations. I was only 17 at the time my board exams were approaching, and NEET was hanging over my head. Yet, I couldn't stop writing Aakrit. I poured every emotion I had into that book.
After not getting selected in NEET 2024, I stopped writing or maybe I just couldn't bring myself to write anymore. I would come up with new plots, storylines, and characters, but forget about finishing them; I couldn't even start. I don't know the exact reason, but somewhere along the way, I felt like the writer inside me had died.
I started focusing more on my studies, keeping that part of myself hidden. And then my heart broke completely when Aakrit got deleted. I tried starting over from scratch. I even began writing Aakrit again, but the vibe, the feeling, the spark I couldn't find it anymore.
Eventually, I deleted my second account too.
But today, when I came across some saved screenshots from Aakrit, a tear slipped down my cheek. I don't know why, but I missed my baby terribly today.
I want to write it again not just for myself, but also for the readers who are still waiting for Aakriti and Kritharth.
And this time, I promise I will bring them back with new emotions and a new version of me. I just need some time to think through the story, the plot, and everything else. Maybe everything will stay the same, or maybe some things will change.
But one thing is certain:
Aakriti and Kritharth will return to the pages once again. ❤️
