how do we think girldad!steve harrington would be (besides being the best ever!!!!!).. asking bc i might incorporate whatever you guys say into my fic. idc if this is silly to ask, i wanna hear y’all’s thoughts too
my three little headcanons so far:
- never stops rambling abt his little girl, *since this is set during s4&5* the customers at family video hear this instead of movies LOL. the same goes for robin and dustin but they don’t mind
- keeps a photo of her in his wallet. he takes it upon himself to show everybody said picture and again, gets to yapping
- making her either 2 - 3.5?? haven’t decided yet, it’s between there. with that being said, he’s so proud of literally anything she does. it can be random like a sneeze or something LMAOO and he’s just there documenting it
he’s so meant to be a dad oh my gosh. gonna come up with more once i continue writing my synopsis.. that i keep fixing like a madwoman

@dollblues this is so cute im gonna sob. if i add some of these in ill give creds <3 but my oc, frankie hopper, (the baby’s mother.. her and steve are complicated rn) will give him the biggest side eye when she sees him trying to do her hair — and takes over. tells him to go set up her breakfast, literally anything BUT that loool

no writing girldad steve was one of my fav things ever, these are some things i didn’t incorporate (but defo shouldve lololol)
loves doing hair, is absolutely horrible at it-but i can so see him trying to do lil pigtails and just horribly failing lol — will keep every little thing he’s given, from paintings to pinecones — picks out all of her outfits —spoils alot, & will never play bad cop
