The girls were close friends, turned lovers. Everything ran smoothly between them until winter break, Rue does something to break Marisol’s trust which leads to her ending things. Feelings are lingering on Rue’s end but Marisol has moved on. It’s now the new year, and that’s where Marisol meets Elliot (Yes, in that laundry room at the party), they hit it off immediately. Rue befriends him for reasons that’ll be explained later. I like this idea in theory as opposed to writing it but I’ll see what you guys think first
