Also, another aspect of Wattpad was irking me, and that was the focus on all the #s and rankings and all that insignificance that was playing mind games with me. I've accepted that response and feedback from Wattpad is really not one of the best indicators of my writing ability, but to all the people that I've treasured your advice from the start, I STILL LOVE YOU AND VALUE YOUR OPINIONS GREATLY.
I think that I'm ready to delve into the writing life again. I've developed a style of writing that I think I'm ready to polish and experiment with. In some respects, I'm starting fresh. No, I'm not deleting all of my previous works, but I will definitely be shaping some of them into something I'm more proud of.
ONE LAST THING.
I really want to know if any of you are doing Camp Nanowrimo next month in April. If you are, or even contemplating about it, please private message me! I'd love to form a cabin with you guys and bounce ideas and just have fun with a group of writers :D I'm not setting my goals high this year due to my busy-ness(yes, it's still a factor, but I'm going to find time to write, for real), but I'm ready to churn out some ideas.
Thanks for reading this looong message. Have a great day, and maybe comment a smiley face below if you actually read all of this. Stay true, stay real :)
