I have decided that I would like to write a new story but my problem with writing stories is that I try to rush things. If its a romance I rush to the romantic parts and dont give something for the characters to build off. If its an action I go right to the action without giving details as to why it happened. Also usually when I write a story my mind goes blank and I cant think of what I would want to happen next. If I write the story I’ve been thinking about writing it would possibly take a while and I wouldn’t want to leave anyone hanging for so long because I personally hate when that happens especially when its a great story. My purpose for typing this is because I want someone to possibly give me some feedback or maybe even some advice. Thank you.

Hey so I'm not used to people responding on this thing but hopefully this helps. I'm not an expert, at all, but I do have this problem n common as you. I have found that writing down an outline in the beginning and trying to find out what you want to happen beginning to end first to be helpful. Then as you write the story you know where it's headed and can add more detail and not worry about what should happen next. You can also watch tv or read books about the subject you are trying to write about to see what you could add. Hope this helps looking forward to more stories.
