What Can I say. I thought Wattpad is a community where people were just artists, giving their best to the art and helping others to do so.
But just because someone creates a masterpiece doesn't mean they are masterpieces themselves.
I started doing read for read, and a fellow writer messaged me asking for read for reads. Then she said, she would do all chapters of mine and gave hateful comments on my story(1st chapter only), I thought she was being helpful. But when I read her book and commented something useful, after reading 10 chapters or so, she goes silent... I text her, was she going to do the rest? She says. "Ah sorry no."
This was really hurtful because I wasted my precious time on such a loser, who tricks people into this kind of scam. She could have said, she doesn't like my story and don't want to do any further, instead she waits to see how long it takes me to understand and stayed quiet. I hope all of you don't go through this kind of people as well. I learned my lessons, I hope you guys learn from this aswell.
P.s- should I reveal the writer who does this? Incase you get scammed by her as well?
