I know some of you were excited for Death Trial: No One Leaves Breathing, and I was too.
This story was supposed to be part of my lineup, and I spent a lot of time building its world, characters, and games. But as I continued developing it, I realized something.
The original version of this story was far darker than what I had initially imagined.
Not just dark in terms of blood or death, but psychologically disturbing. The more I wrote, the more I found myself exploring themes and scenes that affected me in ways I wasn't comfortable with. I wanted this story to be brutal, terrifying, and unforgettable—but somewhere along the way, I realized that the version I had created wasn't healthy for me, and honestly, probably wouldn't be healthy for my readers either.
So after thinking about it carefully, I've decided that Death Trial: No One Leaves Breathing is no longer part of my upcoming lineup.
At least, not for now.
This doesn't mean I've abandoned the story forever.
I love the concept, I love the characters, and I know this world still has potential. But before it ever sees the light of day, I want to rethink it. I want to change things, rewrite things, and make sure that if this story ever comes out, it's because I've created a version I'm truly proud of—not one that sacrifices my peace of mind for the sake of being "dark."
Maybe one day you'll meet these characters.
Maybe one day the doors of Death Trial will open.
But until then, the game remains closed.
