I'm  currently up to date of Chained soldier: Level Up, and I noticed you have a prequel in more of the chainsaw man. I don't know much bout chainsaw man, so do you recommend watching the anime to get some understanding.

Wish in Chained Soldier Level Up; had history relationship between Monarchs, Shuuki, Hachiraishin {Eight Thunder Gods}. 
          
          If Monarchs meets Eight Thunder Gods, probably conflict or cooperate to eliminates human. For humanoid Shuuki like Aoba, Naon, and Koko; few Monarchs like Rakan, Silad, Yogumund, Tarnak, or even Querehsha will kidnapped or fight them due to they see them as interesting humanoid monster.
