Person A has confessed to Person B, soon after being in a happy relationship, Person A finds out that they have a metal illness, preferably one that will result in memory loss after surgery. (Look stuff up about that) Person A tells Person B and Person B says that they'll always love Person A and that they'll make Person A fall in love with them again. (Time Skip) Person A completes their surgery and it was successful. Person A, subconsciously walks to Person B's house.
From there, you could decide what happens, or even if you want to use it lol
