Just wondering if your story ‘Night Disease’ has any Romance or is it more just Action/Adventure (general survival) type of story? - referring to genres, if that makes sense).
There are no tags or indicators from the synopsis description that the story includes relationships, romance or love interests, so was just wondering. The synopsis is really intriguing but I do love a good romance in these type of stories. Be grateful if you could let me know, cheers.

@SnowfakesElegance, thank you for the question. No, there is no romance for the main character. There are side couples, but their romance is not the main focus. The story is mostly action/adventure with a focus on non-romantic relationships (family, friend, ally, antagonist). I did not feel confident in my current writing ability to include romance. If you do read the story, I would be grateful for advice on how to make the side characters' romance feel natural and more included, not as a main plot point but as an ongoing side plot.

Thank you for the question, and I hope you read and enjoy the story.

I would like to offer my sincere apologies, but the chapters for Night Disease will be released a day later than usual this month due to some technical difficulties I am experiencing with the upload process.

          Happy reading!

Hello, readers! I have recently posted a chapter in "Night Disease," where I am seeking your valuable input regarding a possible cover alteration. What are your thoughts on the prospect of modifying the cover for "Night Disease"?

I encourage you to take a look at the chapter, as it presents two potential new covers for your consideration. Please share your opinions on whether the cover should be changed.

See you all again in September for the next chapters of "Night Disease."

          Happy reading!

Hello readers,

I am pleased to announce that the initial short story from Minds is now available. Minds has been transformed into a collection of candid short fiction, exploring the limits of both psychological and physical experiences. Presented in their original, minimally edited form, these narratives confront themes of violence, obsession, and the human capacity for cruelty. Readers should be advised that the collection contains graphic depictions of torture, unfiltered language, and other potentially unsettling content.

Should you be interested in reading a completed story, "Unravelled" is the first tale of many to come in the collection, a tale exploring themes of isolation and longing within a solitary world.

Cross the threshold at your own risk—once within these pages, you may find that some shadows refuse to release you.

I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the story.

          Thank you.

Hello readers! I'm taking a one-month break from uploads—these last ten chapters of Night Disease kicked my butt in editing. I'll return with the next five chapters in September (I might sneak in one or two in August, so keep your eyes peeled). In the meantime, feel free to explore my other stories!

"Minds" is also getting a complete makeover: I'm scrapping the current story and reshaping it into a collection of standalone short stories. Stay tuned for those releases!

If you're wondering what's next in Night Disease, here's a teaser: Liam, Sam, and Kaindra journey to Brandon to raid the abandoned box stores—only the aisles are haunted by hushed whispers, shoppers slump against the shelves in waves of sickness, and faces go ashen with every passing moment. Don't miss what comes next!

I wish you a wonderful summer! I am very much looking forward to continuing with the second half of arc 2 in Night Disease in September.
