Hey sis just wanted to send you some positive vibes I know you said you were still trying to make it out of the hood you grew up in and as a fellow black woman that grew up in a very similar situation in a real rough hood in some real rough projects in Watts California and made it out just wanted to send you some encouragement keep your head up and keep going you will make it out sis trust me I was the hoodrat the project girl the girl that got pregnant at 16 and was never gone be shit and I proved everybody wrong and shut all the haters up so if I can do it you definitely can do it just never forget about home or where you came from when you do make it out

@ebonye37 I absoloutly feel you my mother just lost her job and it was paying great money now she has to rely on her food stamps again the goverment isnt going to help us because its designed for us to fail.

I definitely remember the free food and free clothes lines the welfare the food stamps back when they was paper food stamps lol girl life has never been easy but the feeling that you are going to have when you can move your mom out of them projects and tell her mom don't worry about your rent I got it is going to be the best feeling ever or when my daughter says she's hungry it's actually food in the refrigerator she has options I grew up wondering if I was going to eat that feels so good that she doesn't have to grow up like I did
