            THE LADY IN BLACK SITS AS STILL AS THE HANDS ON THE CLOCK WITH THE SHADE OF THE NIGHT BRUSHED AGAINST HER EYELIDS, ITS PIGMENT AS HEAVY AS THE DARK LIPSTICK SHE WEARS. there is something about her that is earthly and unearthly all at once, of the soil that gives life to a seedling and the soil that is tossed over an open grave. there is something in those dark eyes of hers, something in the way she stares so boldly into the unknown. 
            
            ❝ MHM.. ❞ her response is caught somewhere between certainty and doubt. it is subtle, but her tone of voice is enough for one to question whether it is an insinuation or simply an agreement and nothing more. it proves that she is still listening nonetheless. ❝ AIN’ NOWHERE BETTER TO HIDE THAN IN PLAIN SIGHT. THAT’S ONE THING ‘BOUT THEM DEVILS… THEY GOT THEIR OWN WAYS OF SLIPPIN’ PAST THE EYE. ❞ her eyes shift to the side while her head remains in the same position as before, indifferent to the other’s awareness. she listened to every word she said, spoken in the same way that she appears now — without flaw (as all with most appear. beauty is a lure). she examines her fingers, her nails painted over with an even coat, her tailored clothing. the way she carries herself differs from how the other presents, with her own skin being etched with a black ink that bleeds through her hands, her chest, her neck. she recalls bellamy’s discomfort, viewing this as desecration and the irony of it all makes her teeth clench. it shows in her expression.

★   so her @ is “ужастик” or uzhastik spelled backwards which translates to “horror”! i thought it'd be fitting for her overall,,, & i'm kind of liking it better than how it's usually spelled. that was also taken, (unsurprisingly) So, improvisation was needed
