Wait I just noticed something. I was reading your Harry×Reader story (which so far is AMAZING) but I just realized that it wouldn't make sense that I was 10. So that means I met harry in diagon alley when I was 9 so wouldn't that mean I would have to go next year?? I know I might sound stupid.

Nah, it works. Kind of. It’s hard to explain but when I put that in the book I was basing it off my own age in school. I’m an August kid so people who are born in, say, September are close enough to being a year older than me in a school year. I don’t know if that makes any sense? If it doesn’t let’s just say (y/n)’s smart and got bumped up a year.
