the notion that visibility is inherently a good thing is wrong and should be thrown out a moving car. 'no one cares about native americans, blacks are lucky theyre in the spotlight' or 'nobody knows what pansexual is gays are lucky everyone knows what it means' is not an okay way to think. you cant compare ppl's struggles or say that one is more priveleged than the other just because all eyes are on them. I literally would love it if we stopped showing black ppl being violently thrown around or our dead bodies out for all to see but thats not gonna happen!!
