Hey there everyone! 

My name is Kayla and its been a little while since I've stopped by Wattpad, but when I returned I was so happy to see that people enjoyed my work. I'm definitely going to post some more this summer, hopefully you'll enjoy that as well! 

A bit about me: 
I am 19, a junior in college, and a Philosophy and Gender and Sexuality Studies double major. 
I had always loved reading and was a pretty good writer, but I think I started really getting into poetry during high school when I was dealing a lot with mental illness.
Now, I do still use poetry as a mechanism for coping with my emotions, but it has become a lot more than that for me. 
I think I have always been amazed by life in nearly every sense. Just watching people and animals and nature, I just find it all so breathtaking. Poetry I think is one of the best ways to capture that beauty (and sometimes tragedy).
