I honestly wish I was just rejected rather than deferred. If I was rejected then I would know my credentials were simply not enough- but since I was deferred I know I'm right on the border of being good enough. I'm going to get my Hope's up for nothing cause only approximately 15% make it from deferred to acceptance. High School Musical never taught me how cope with sacrificing the last four years of your childhood to build an application that will only be seen as average on a national scale.
