          In short: NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, which is held annually every November. You participate in it by writing a novel (from scratch) from 1st Nov to 31th Nov -- so basically the story must be finished in a month in order for it to become a NaNoWriMo entry. Head over to the website to sign up if you wanna participate officially in it because there's prizes and everything! It's awesome :D
