Can somebody explain to me what the Blake Lively hype is all about. Other than that she is a conventionally attractive white woman who's married to Ryan Reynolds, acted in Gossip Girls, hasn't starred in anything noteworthy in the past few years, and wears great outfits at the Met Gala? Because I don't get it.

@knifeslinger blake lively and ryan reynolds have always been weird af. they got married on a plantation and now she's starring in that dumbass colleen hoover adaptation. she has 0 social awareness and is giving jlo levels of ignorance in the interviews she's doing for this movie. she's literally just a nepo baby with no personality and backwards morals.

should I read shadow and bone first or go straight ahead and read the six of crows duology instead?

@ knifeslinger I was very confused when I read soc first because the worldbuilding and grisha things aren't getting explained again but after 1/3rd I could follow it without getting confused!!

you can read soc without s&b but i’d recommend doing so anyway because s&b does a good job at worldbuilding the grishaverse. some get confused if they go straight into soc

you can actually read soc without reading s&b, the only thing is that s&b introduces the world and does most of its worldbuilding but imo i prefer soc more
