you remind me of my own father . i think you would get along nicely .

* he nodded , pulling his wing close to him , as if it were a blanket to keep himself warm . it was strange - the man very much resembled his own father in stature and language , but , he was showing kindness , a rarity from his father * i .,. you're rather kind . all things considered .

@fcllenfae he let out a hum as his eyes caught sight of the frost coated wings. it was somewhat strange to see someone with wings — he only knew of two , and they didn't display them outside of their full forms. perhaps it would be more strange had he not fought numerous wars against varying creatures. " .. I suppose you make a fair argument. follow me. I will bring you to a place you can get away from the cold .. but you will leave as soon as you are able to." the boy was young enough for him to be willing to help. most people he would send off without remorse.

i .,. i didn't mean to . i was flying , and the frost caught my wings . i / had / to land , or eventually they'd freeze up * the fae brought his wings in front of him , brushing some frost off his sparrow - like feathers . his wings were everything to him - his freedom , his escape from his duties as prince . if they were to be damaged , he wouldn't know how to carry on * i can leave , but i need to warm up more . ,., * a pause * if you don't mind .

| while he's without true powers , he's been given ' boosts ' by the queen. he's her warrior — she can't allow him to die / too easily /. he's hard to kill , in the sense that his soul is tightly bound to his body. his heart could stop beating and he could still be moving. he himself can't heal , but she can heal him. his skin is hard to cut and his bloodlust increases as he fights. were the queen to die , he would only retain the physical attributes. ( strength , speed , endurance )
| he's naturally strong himself though – even without her increasing it. with his own strength he could take on hundreds , with hers its thousands. this isn't a limitless technique. he will eventually grow tired.
( this is unknown. he CANT grow tired. )
( he can't lose another child. )

| he has three children in total , two are alive. he doesn't speak of them much — pretends to not care about them. she makes him get rid of the things he cares about.
| he's a terrible person — an absolute red flag but like .. by necessity. if that makes sense.
| prefers close combat , but is skilled in long range too.
| he's genuinely going insane. his actions will display that.
| the only morals he has left revolve around children. he won't harm them or allow them to fight in wars. it's a hard rule he's set. he argues that the population will decline if they allow their younger generations to fall while fighting at war.
| will insult you in every possible way he can.
| stab first think later type of guy
| he's a terrible person .. but he's also a vegetarian .. ( meat is scarce in fimbulvetr. he'd prefer other people to be able to eat it. )

RAGNAR does not have his own free will. this makes him angry — makes him violent , makes him hate the world. he's powerful , has trained his whole life to be strong enough to take on hundreds — but despite this , one word from the queen could have him kneeling. she holds the power to command him — a power granted by his ancestors foolish mistakes.
( he won't admit it , but the queen terrifies him. being near her makes him tremble — something he won't show unless they're alone , and even then he does his best to hide it. she enjoys it. she could make him do anything — she / has / made him do so much. has made him kill mercilessly , dig the two scars down his own face — she made him kill one of his children as punishment for losing a war. he hates her — he hates his more for not being able to stop her. )
in order to retaliate , he became cruel before she could order him to. threw away his morals sooner than she could tell him to. she doesn't tell him to conquer lands anymore — he does it on his own. having his own will taken away from his is infuriating , so he took it back. if she wants the world , then he'll take it on his own terms.
