apartment above a bakery run by another angel who took
him in after the fall. evangelos spends their days baking
with careful hands dusted in flour and sugar. outside of
work, he rescues abandoned animals across the city,
unable to ignore anything frightened or hurting because
some part of him still understands what it means to be
cast aside.
