ik i made a deal with AB abt updating counting stars before the year is over (if you see this AB, dont think i havent forgotten), its just uni has been steamrolling me and ive been wrapped up in asoue lately bc i finished my second rewatch recently and gods the ending has me in a chokehold, it always will. also ive been working on an og story, like actually writing it out and stuff. but chances are when i do work on fics, i'll be prioritizing counting stars and my ao3 fic agtsta over the others--at least until i update those two lmao (especially counting stars atm bc ive too much at stake if i lose)

          	  Although, as much as I love, love, love Counting Stars, don’t put too much pressure on yourself <33 You and your health come first, so don’t worry if you can’t!! But otherwise, once you’ve taken care of yourself, there is no excuse and no escape from my wrath. :)

had a lowkey bday this year and i liked it! i stayed up late (kinda), got to sleep in (and it was the best sleep-in ive had this semester so far ngl!), skipped my classes, wrote a little bit, cut off yet another clingy man from my life, had cake and cupcakes bc my friends and parents surprised me, talked with the ppl i love (irl and my virtual friends) and spent time with them celebrating! today was rlly nice and i want to thank the ppl who helped make it so, ily guys <3 
          (it's been downpouring all day tho which was nice when i was in bed this morning but ffs i wish it was snowing instead!)

been messing with an og story idea that's basically one of my fic drafts but this one was 95% original plot anyway so all i had to do was change the love interest and i didnt even have to change him all that much since hes a god from mythology so all i had to do was create MY version of him and not the version the author had made! still got that indiana jones vibe fs (with a twist obv; imagine a ghost explorer and a god of funerary rites tracking down the ghost's stolen body and finding out more than bargained) so ive been watching up on the movies to help plot hfdjkhfj also been doing a lot more reading up on egyptian mythology and i forgot how obsessed i was with it as a kid

ive seen fics with jason (and sometimes thalia) as the love interest and the mc's godly parent is relating to the sky/air/wind. but there're like no fics where percy is the love interest and the mc's godly parent a deity of the sea/water/sea creatures, which why?? that would be pretty iconic if you think abt it, they'd be unstoppable, imagine the storms/hurricanes, how they'd combine their forces and create smth wondrous and terrifying--how that could even define their dynamic/relationship--how one focuses more on the storms and the other on the creatures of the sea (even the monsters), the way that the sea is so unpredictable maybe one is the mellower side of it but the other is a constant tempest, an eye of a constant storm; they're both the same domain but wildly different mentalities bc the sea is never the same, its always churning and full of unimaginable depth, and hhhhhh
          
          the mc of the letters fic i mentioned below will most likely have a godly parent relating to the sea bc this is too good (and angsty) to pass up-

also their EMOTIONS bc the sea is always shifting and moving so imagine the changes in their moods, the shifts in dynamics that are either so fast or so slow and it perplexes both sides yet they don’t even realize until later on bc what they experience is mirrored in some way in the other due to their similarities so they don’t rlly pick up on the cues at first. also the passion would be unmatched, like waves crashing against the rocks, a tsunami ripping down the coast, consuming them (regardless of if it’s a neg or pos sort of passion), and omgg
