Anyone has a book recommendation similar to - I'm the geek who slapped a football player -?  

Hi everyone, I'm currently in the process of creating a story with my little sister. Never done this before so I'm curious of how people will find it. 
          
          Now let's get straight to business- I have a question to the people who wrote their own stories before. Do you create your own covers or do you let someone else do it ? 
          We're currently in a pickle, as we know how we want the cover to look, but we aren't sure how to do it. 
          Any response would be a great help, thank you x
