@Guiltless_Heart I guess you are feeling like this is because it's different from the previous version. In the last version koo did things which was quite unforgiving despite his situation. If you had suffered it doesn't mean you should torture other as well.In the last one we find how Tae was struggling with this dilemma. He was sympathetic towards koo and strongly wanted to protect him(which he did)but he was not ready to forgive him.Cause Tae and other alpha never did anything to him to get those beatings. That's why he was hella confused back then.He was confused Between started to have feelings for koo and at the same time having hate for whatever he did with him.Even if gguk tried to make it up to his mistakes Tae still would find himself hesitant in forgiving him.But in this version koo's character is not messed up(mentally)like the previous one. He did wrong with Tae but the intention was pure and innocent. A person trying to save his destined one, this is what it is. But the method he used, what should I say about it when a little boy who was supposed to discover the world, was supposed to spread his wings in the endless sky to test his limits. That little boy's wings got cut off brutally at the age of 11, that little boy's freedom got snatched away from him even before he could have the taste of it.How can we expect him to use some sensible method when all these 10 years his soul was tormented by a greedy, selfish and pathetic monster. So yeah, that's how we find Tae forgiving him when he got to know that gguk was trying to save his life.IG this may be the reason why think story is rushing because of Tae behaviour towards koo
Cause this time he is not only feeling protective but also warm and soft for koo's purity. And the purity and selflessness of gguk is the reason Tae will fall for him. I know there bond is shattered but this time I'm sure author nim will (and she is)focus on their healing. On healing gguk through Tae and getting Tae heal in the process.
