most of the people who follow me on this account are here because of the phanfiction i used to write in middle school & i feel bad about it. i have unpublished those stories & will never update them again because i've grown up & realized that i don't feel comfortable shipping & writing about real people since it's such an invasive thing to do. the amount of traction my largest fic gained gave me a sense of validation so i felt like i was throwing away my success to unpublish my stories, but that's why i knew i had to take them down; i couldn't have something so large on my page if it didn't reflect the ideals i hold. i don't intend to come off in a holier than thou tone, & i do not mean to shame anyone who comes across this & still writes fanfiction about real people, it is just something that i personally am too uncomfortable to do.
