Literature and languages are my escape from the world.  I have a J.D. and a B.A. in Russian Language and Literature. Law was my passion for many years and my job.  Russian was a bit of a cop out - an easy degree for a girl with a Russian father and a love of reading. 

I took many years away from writing. I stopped in college and only picked my proverbial pen back up this year at the urging of my niece. Poetry is my forte, but I occasionally write other things. 

I hold a personal fondness for The Chronicles of Narnia and Peter Pan. They're children's books, yes, but they are the first ones I remember reading.
