Just because people throw that word around as a slur doesn't erase the trauma, suffering and violence women have endured for generations. It doesn't strip the word of its meaning. And it surely doesn't give anyone the right to use it for someone.
          
          And the threats? Seriously? 
          
          Have people lost all sense of empathy for victims, or have they forgotten that this is a heinous crime and not some joke or internet trend to weaponize against others?
