hey guys!
          	
          	i have a question for you (and think it’s a fun one):
          	what are you currently obsessed with reading? like…what genres and storylines are you absolutely living for right now?
          	
          	here’s why i’m asking: i’m toying with the idea of starting a new novel, but i want to build it around your current obsessions. with the new poll feature rolling out, you’ll literally get to vote on the direction of the story. 
          	
          	imagine: the characters, the tropes, the twists, all shaped by you. i think that would be ridiculously fun (and maybe a little chaotic in the best way). i think i'm up for the challenge.
          	
          	so, what are you craving in your reads these days? 
          	
          	i really hope you hear from you guys. Wattpad is SO DEAD. but in the words of Leonard Hofstadter from The Big Band Theory: "i think it's actually undead, like a zombie."

You're so right 'bout Wattpad, currently scrolling and I don't recognize it anymore. Too many restrictions and a lot of things had happened for a long time. I'm not reading right now but what my obssession is always, always, always, suspense/thriller. Y'know some whodunnit stories. I'm a big fan of mystery and some kind of mistaken identity thing. Some facial reconstruction then you find yourself in a whole bunch of plot trying to kill you hahaha something like that.

          	  i'm so into morally gray characters too and forced proximity, but i'm trying to do it the "right way" with the new versions of my novels. 
          	  
          	  i have a confession to make: i have NEVER read Wuthering Heights. I've actually never read any of the classic romance novels since so many of them have been adapted into films. yes, i'm THAT person. i'm excited for the movie coming out, it'll be the first adaptation of Wuthering Heights that i watch! 
          	  
          	  i'll look into it and see if i can get a little inspiration. thank you so much for your feedback! i know you're busy so it means so much to me that you took time out of your day.

@koverdiablo918 You're so funny. The ones who have replied don't seem to be familiar with your work, otherwise they wouldn't be talking about T.V. shows or fantasy novels, no offense guys! I absolutely love morally gray characters, and I think you're doing a fantastic job with Harley and don't even get me started on Colton. I did read ASAR on Radish so I think he falls under that category. So if you can keep rolling out stories with characters like that, I'll be golden. I'm currently reading Lights Out by Navessa Allen. I'm late to the game I know! Work has just been so busy that it's been hard for me to catch my breath long enough for me to sit and read an entire book. Josh is SO morally gray. Anyway, I would love to see you write something a la Wuthering Heights, with the movie coming out and all. That'd be truly something to read from you.

          chapter 12 of 'a vicious kind' just dropped, and let’s just say...things are heating up.  if you’ve been keeping up, you know i update every Monday & Friday, so your week officially has built-in drama. this one’s a little on the spicy side, if i do say so myself.

hey everyone!
          
          just a quick announcement: ch. 7 of A Vicious Kind will be posted at 6 p.m. CDT & ch. 8 will be up Friday—same time! hopefully i can update for you guys next week as well. i'm currently dealing with a small crisis here at home that started last night AND i'm reporting for  jury duty starting tomorrow.

@tehyaawrites you are the absolute sweetest. i had so much fun writing that Torn. payton might be a total wreck, but she was such a blast to create in all her storminess. and colton…don’t even get me started. i have such a soft spot for him and wish i could incorporate him in every single one of my books. he's so much fun, aside from all his self-destructive tendencies.

I came back on Wattpad just to start reading the new version of A Vicious Kind. Girl! It’s a million times better! Congratulations! I can’t wait to continue reading. Please keep it on Wattpad and please bring back Torn! I’m so happy you’re back.  I’m also loving the new pen name! It’s angsty and dark and very well-suited for you.

hello everyone!
          
          i hope you’re all thriving and at least pretending to have your lives together better than i am. quick update: i’ll be posting a new chapter of ‘a vicious kind’ sometime this week. my husband was home last week and, as usual, my productivity plummeted the moment he walked through the door. he just left yesterday, so naturally i’m a little mopey because he’ll be gone for three weeks…but on the bright side, that means i have no excuse not to update.
          
          speaking of distractions…has anyone been watching ‘the summer i turned pretty’ on Amazon Prime? a couple years back, one of you told me it gave you ‘torn’ vibes. naturally, i had to binge the entire first season in one sitting, finishing at 8 a.m. like a gremlin whispering “just one more episode” to myself. i didn’t even know it was a book at the time, and now i’m fully hooked.
          
          anyway, thank you for checking out the new version of a vicious kind. it’s basically a completely different book now, so if you weren’t sold on the original, maybe this one will win you over.

@smileyqueen_ omg have you watched the new episode yet? i  stayed up until 2 a.m. with my sister just to see it. I’m definitely Team Connie, but I get why Belly reacted the way she did on the beach the night before the rehearsal dinner. Connie has this pattern of pulling her in only to push her away again, and he’s done it over and over. Jer’s been a lot more steady, at least in that sense. 
            
            as for who’s hotter…honestly, i don’t even know! Gavin’s eyes are gorgeous and Chris really does give off young Leonardo DiCaprio vibes sometimes. But maybe it’s just me being in my late 30s. I can’t unsee how young they are. 
            
            what about you??
            keep in my mind, i will definitely be discussing this with my younger sister lol. i'm pretty sure she's in love with Chris Briney.
