Every summer, Caroline Daughtler attends the Chicago Institute of Dance Arts, or otherwise known as CIDA. The Institutions are national, and therefore extremely difficult to get into. But with her talent, Caroline and her 4 friends have made it in ever since the eligible age of 11 years old.
But this summer, the reunion with her four friends is different. Finn Hawkford, Caroline's toughest competition-and yet also her best friend-came back to the Institution looking like a new person. He was taller, chiseled, and though she refuses to admit it, far more handsome.
While her other 3 friends drool for him instantly, Caroline stands her ground. This year was about making the Elite teams, and the last thing she needs is to slip and fall for him.
But when she and Finn get unexpected news about a dance, Caroline realizes falling in love with someone isn't exactly a choice.
