COMING BACK SOON ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello, my darlings! I apologise for being away for so long (つ╥﹏╥)つ Life has been crazy (꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)
Just a quick update on what's happened to those who are interested:
So... after my mum's surgery, I took a break to take care of her at home, and she's recovered well without complications, thankfully.
However, that entire experience opened my eyes to a lot of dissatisfaction I had with where I was in my life, and I went from patiently searching for a perfect job that matched my university degree to having two part-time jobs at once. They weren't the ideal professional jobs I wanted after uni, but I wanted to be helpful to my family.
It was such a flip to my daily routine, however, that I couldn't fully settle into a solid schedule for months -- even now, I'm struggling. It was also really exhausting since they were both pretty labour-intensive jobs. I remember a time when I worked for 13 days straight while sick with the flu and had been on and off sick for 2 months or so.
Not only did I barely have any time for writing, but I also lost confidence in my ability to write creatively.
Nevertheless, I intend to return as soon as I can now that I've stepped away from one job to do the other more full-time. It will take a while for me to adjust, but I'm determined to make it work. As they say, when you truly love something, rather than wait for the perfect moment, you will make time and space for it. Thank you to all who have waited patiently for me. I ask that you wait just a little longer.
I don't have a set date or anything, but I want to make it back in time to gift you darlings a deserved Christmas present (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
