Many of the people who take a gander on my account might have noticed that I have not been active for a little over a year and a half. It has recently occured to me that I never quite explained why. In fact, I hadn't thought about Wattpad for a very long time until a few days ago when I checked my email and was overwhelmed with the amount of comments on my stories.
There is a reason I haven't been active on wattpad for so long, and that is this: I primarily wrote fanfiction for Sherlock BBC. I had written it for my own pleasure for about three years. But as time grew on, my interest in the community waned. It became a thing of the past. A "phase," if you will (which isn't to discredit it. It was truly an important thing to me, but all parts of life are in phases)
I also began to grow dissatisfied with my work. I didn't find joy in it as I had in the past. Even with the fantastic support of the type readers that any writer would dream of having, writing fanfiction became a chore. I simply couldn't do it anymore.
To get to the point I was trying to make, I will not be uploading any more pieces of writing via Wattpad. All stories that have been uploaded here will not be updated (at least, not by me) Wattpad has shaped me into the person I am today. It was there for me when I needed it most, but it is no longer my home.
Please do not message and ask me when I will be uploading. It will not be happening. I'm truly sorry to any reader that I may have disappointed with this news.
