Happy New Year. I just wanted to let the followers of The Banana Awards know that Kris, my buddy has been institutionalized for the better part of two months now. He had a nervous breakdown due to personal issues with his soon-to-be ex-wife and a person he thought was his friend. He is getting the help he needs and he apologizes for not getting to you guys sooner. But he is busy rn trying to get healthy for himself and his baby daughter. 

You Chick-lit writers are bad... In a good way... Look at you guys mesmerizing me with your stories. Well done my banana minions, well done! The Chick-lit results will be announced later this evening. I have a few errands to run, so I am about to head out right now. But I just want to say I am proud of you guys. 

Only 5 categories left and I am the judge for 3, Action/Adv, Chic-lit and Werewolf, but the Action category is such a hard one because all the stories are soooooo good. I am gonna have to take extra time with that category. So maybe I'll update chic-lit next.
