I was born in Moscow, Russia, and came to the US in 1998. I'm the author of dark fantasy short fiction and 7 novels, and the winner of Amtrak Residency Program 2015. My novel Rosehead won Honorary Mention in the YA Category in the Indie Ebook Award 2016. When I'm not writing, I'm reading. And when I'm not reading, I'm scaring other writers into writing or terrifying unsuspecting readers into reading my nightmarish books. I live in Seattle with my partner Royce Daniel and my son Peter.



My novel Rosehead was featured on Wattpad in the fantasy category, and Irkadura was Wattpad staff pick as "a postmodern fable that will break your mind into a million pieces."
