Howdy. My name's Kyle. I am a graduate of the California State University system, with a BA in English-Creative Writing. I was born and raised in Southern California, and tend to write about the region, but also tend to do research and write about other parts of the country. I write realistic fiction, sci-fi, horror and occasionally dabble in the fine art of essay writing. I try to capture the human condition in some way in everything I write, and find that sci-fi and horror are just as conducive to that as realistic fiction and the essay. Authors that have influenced me the most are Isaac Asimov, Stephen King, John Steinbeck, and more recently Junot Diaz and Yann Martel among many others.
