hi! this is such a great question!
            i find that when i’m writing, it really helps to have everything laid out so i have a base to go off. obviously, things might change when writing but knowing that i have specific ideas to bounce off of helps when developing the story. know your plot, know your characters and it should all work out!
            making vision boards of my characters and stories is also super helpful. it creates good visuals and allows you to look at your story in a different way!
            taking things slowly when writing is also key! i try not to rush and really focus on taking my time with details and character building. 
            there are so much more more but these are crucial to me! i hope this helps!
