I was actually going to message you. I just finished the story and I really enjoyed it. Xavier is a very wonderful character you did a great job bringing him to life. I really like Haley as well, and her dad is has to be my most favorite adult I’ve read in a book yet.
I’m kind of sad it finished so fast but at the same time I’m glad it wasn’t long and drawn out to the point of getting boring.

And honestly I appreciate how Xavier shows love, loyalty, endurance and strength for his mom despite what she became and his situation. It gave me something to ponder on.
